Trade with us
The Frome Independent offers a fresh, diverse and complementary mix of products, goods and experiences. We seek out traders from Frome and the South West who can offer quality locally grown or sourced produce, contemporary design and vintage treasures. Above all, we seek to champion independent craftspeople, designer makers, producers, traders and retailers.
The Frome Independent spans the entirety of Frome town centre and has one of the largest footfalls of any market in the South West. Set in the heart of a town full of independent shops and businesses, our market offers a unique opportunity for traders to join the Frome community and reclaim the high street for a day.
The market provides a number of specialist areas: artisan food, street food, designer maker, home & garden, flea and the suitcase sale. We offer pitches in a range of sizes, and aim to support small start-ups as well as more established enterprises.
The suitcase sale is a diminutive market – just in a suitcase! Conceived as a means of allowing new traders to test their products. The Suitcase Sale costs £15 a pitch (£10 for young designers, producers or entrepreneurs under 26), and is a great way to test out a product range.
